Donation to Barrow County Holiday Connection Made

A donation to the Barrow County Holiday Connection was made by the Winder-Barrow Community Theatre this week. The check for $460 was part of the ticket sales from the production of "Fruitcakes" which was presented December 3-5, 2010. This Christmas show was a hit with audience members, and Santa made a visit after each show. WBCT donates a portion of each show's ticket sales to local nonprofits throughout the year hoping to make a difference in the community.
Season tickets are now on sale and make excellent Christmas gifts for people of all ages. They can be purchased by credit card at Winder City Hall at 770-867-3106, and by check or cash at Pam Veader's State Farm Insurance Office in Winder (770-867-1679).
