Kelly has appeared on the WBCT stage in several shows. He is the author of two science-fiction/fantasy novels, "The Fate of Sh'kaara" books 1 and 2, "The Sword of Ramydan", and "The Thirteenth Prophecy". He is currently hard at work on the third installment of this series as well as a collection of short (and not-so-short) horror stories. He teaches seventh grade language arts and reading at Westside Middle School where he also works with the drama program.
